We had a really good stay in my next visit up north.

Good value, room was neat, staff were amicable. The setting was quite exceptionally nice and convenient within easy reach of a soaring skyscraper. A large supermarket and a supermarket were right next door.

Had good and perfect location to street food night market. We found the staff nice.

Got spotlessly clean double room with the private bathroom when arrived, loved that. The location was amazing, close to a shopping mall. Besides, it was next to popular restaurant as well as the main Komtar bus station.

liked the room with breakfast, my bed was comfortable. the facilities were pretty good. the staff were best and top-class and the location was nice to the national park.

The location here is fantastic for walking around and there's a great view of a tall building, and the homemade food in the restaurant was really enjoyable.

Had a very relaxing stay in my next visit up north. The hotel was in a good location just off Penang and the Hostel, the main bus station and Komtar, famous chendol, lorong baru, lorong presgrave for street food. It also was in the heart of Georgetown.

We had a perfect stay at Dou Houz! The location was ideal, just a short 10-minute walk to the Georgetown UNESCO heritage site and street art. We loved being able to explore the town on foot. The owner was incredibly kind and gave us fantastic recommendations for places to eat and explore. He even allowed us to store our bags after check-out. The private rooms were spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable. The shared bathrooms were always clean, and the showers and toilets had hot water. Having access to a kitchen with hot and cold water, a hob, and a fridge was a great bonus. Dou Houz was one of our favorite hostels on our 3-month Asian adventure.

dou houz georgetown was even better than my previous stay in george town. the location was perfect for walking to nearby attractions. the staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. highly recommend this place for the price.
